Website Production
In the opening stage of my website production I chose to review layouts on Wix. I chose to use Wix as it's form of website production allowed for ease of use and sleek work that I thought would appeal to my target audience of young ABC1 people.
I began production by first looking at layouts that I thought were most visually appealing although after a small amount of work, using one layout, I realised that I no longer wanted to expand on the website as I felt it more targeted audience members who listen to rock or indie music. I needed my website to be more modern looking and straightforward which would appeal to members of a modern electronically based audience.

Dance music is ever evolving and adapts to changes in technology which led me to believe that my website must reflect this through its layout. As my website developed I decided to incorporate more elements that the audience could interact with and navigate. This meant using a completely working menu bar, creating merchandise and album covers on Photoshop that would create a sense of 'Louis The Child' being an artist that had worked in the industry for a while. This also led me to using pictures that incorporate modern architecture in my home screen. I believe this use of architecture as a link that the audience can navigate connoted to the products being straightforward and modern whilst also representing 'Louis The Child' as having artistic qualities and being somewhat high class. This idea of living a lavish lifestyle is very common in modern pop and hip-hop as it has become a naturally expected thing that artists 'flex' on their audiences as an exaggeration of their rise to riches.
